Urgent need for humanitarian aid in Eastern Ghouta
Since Sunday 18 February the emergency situation in Eastern Ghouta has worsened, with violent clashes reportedly resulting in over 500 people dead and thousands more injured.
Islamic Relief recently supported besieged communities in Eastern Ghouta through the winter with non-food items and fuel for heating.
An emergency response has now been initiated, aiming to support 2,834 families with emergency food assistance.
